Welcome to Maddog Football!
This is our 9th year as an organization and we are looking forward to the 2014 season. We have programs for Spring and Fall flag for grades 1-6. This year we are having girls only flag teams if the numbers warrant for grades 5-8. We also have the Fall tackle program for peewee(ages 11-12) and Bantam (ages 13-14). There is a link to register for the Maddogs Fall tackle program by going to the KFLNZ. If you prefer to register in person please come to the Maddog Clubhouse on March 11 and 12 from 7:00-8:30pm. Online registration opens March 1.
Saskatoon Minor Football also has a Spring 6 on 6 tackle program offered. Players need to register through Saskatoon Minor for this but state that they would like to be on the Martensville Team when they register. There is a link on the side that will take you to this website.
The Maddog program relies on volunteers to provide all of these youth programs. If you would like to join our executive or help out with the program please contact Janine 222-0357 firstname.lastname@example.org

Tackle Info for the KFLNZ
Peewee and Bantam tackle registration will be done through the KFLNorthern Zone website. This stands for the Kinsmen Football League Northern Zone. Check for the link to this site for registration. ( KFLNZ) Last year the Northern Zone expanded to include a team based out of Warman. All peewee and bantam players now must register through the northern zone website and the teams will be divided in June. All Martensville and Warman players will play in their respective towns but the out of town players will be assigned to one of the 2 teams based on numbers.
Sunday, August 17 is equipment fitting for the Bantam tackle team at 2:00pm. Monday, August 18 2014 is Equipment fitting at 5:00 at the Maddog Clubhouse for the Peewee Tackle team. Bring a mouthguard, cleats and a waterbottle. No players will be allowed on the filed unless all of their fees and forms are filled out. There will be a short Parent's Meeting at 6:00. All parents must attend.
This is the first year the Maddogs have organized the Winter Footballfest. It was an opportunity for any youths to come out and try on the equipment, see the new clubhouse and participate in some fun drills and games in the snow. Marty the Maddog, our football mascot, organized a game of flag for the younger ones. The older players put on equipment and had a fun game of tackle in the snow. There was also a bonfire with hotdogs and hot chocolate available for everyone. This will be an annual event every February.
