Welcome to Maddog Football!

This is our 9th year as an organization and we are looking forward to the 2014 season! We have programs for Spring and Fall flag football for grades 1-6. In 2015, we are hoping to have girls only flag teams, if the numbers warrant, for grades 5-8. We also have the fall tackle program for Peewee (ages 11-12) and Bantam (ages 13-14). There is a link to register for the Maddogs Fall tackle program by going to the KFLNZ website. Online registration is now closed.

Saskatoon Minor Football offers a Spring 6-a-side tackle program.  Players register through the Saskatoon Minor Football site. On the online registration form,  select the 'Martensville Team' option. There is a link on the side that will take you to this website.

The Maddog program relies on volunteers to provide all of these youth programs. If you would like to join our executive or help out with the program, please contact Janine 222-0357 or jhayward@sasktel.net

Tackle Info for the KFLNZ

Peewee and Bantam tackle registrations are done through the KFLNZ (Kinsmen Football League Northern Zone) website. Check for the link to this site for registration. In 2013, the Northern Zone expanded to include a team based in Warman in addition to one in Martensville. All peewee and bantam players now must register through this KFLNZ website and the teams will be formed in July for the fall season. All Martensville and Warman players will play in their respective city (if numbers warrant) but the out-of-town players will be assigned to one of the 2 teams based on numbers.

Equipment Fitting

Before each football season, a date is scheduled for equipment pickup by players at the Maddog Clubhouse at Geransky Field. Check back for dates and times.

Winter Footballfest

The Maddogs have organized an annual Winter Footballfest. It is an opportunity for any youth in the community to come out and try on the equipment, see the new clubhouse and participate in some fun drills and games in the snow. Marty the Maddog, our football mascot, organizes a game of flag for the younger ones. The older players put on equipment and have a fun game of tackle in the snow! There is also a bonfire with hotdogs and hot chocolate available to everyone. This annual event is every February. Check back for dates and times.
